The lever action repeating pistol invented by Horace Smith and Daniel Wesson fired a Folbert type rimfire cartridge or "rocket ball". Uniquely, an extension of the lever mechanism ejected a used cartridge and seated a new cartridge. The lever would also cock a trigger actuated firing pin. The design was so revolutionary that Smith and Wesson formed theire company to sell it.

Frame sizes listed are the matboard sizes. Add width of 1.25" moulding for overall dimensions.

SPECIFICATIONS: Gun Patent Art framed patents are available in a choice of four sizes, four frame colors, and four matboard colors. Plexiglass glazing is included. The patent images are digitally restored and printed in exacting detail on your choice of three quality papers: aged parchment, natural parchment and matte white.
